How to play
Open a matchup and select exactly the number of players requested. Questions can compare two players or offer a pool of up to six. Sign in to save picks to your account and see them across devices.
You can change your selections while voting is open. After the games finish, StartHim verifies every candidate's final points and records whether your call was correct.
Your score and accuracy
A correct call earns 1 point. An incorrect call earns 0 points. Each question counts once, including questions that ask you to pick multiple players. Winning by a larger margin does not earn extra credit.
Accuracy is correct calls divided by all graded calls, shown as a rounded percentage. Pending and void questions are excluded.
Player fantasy points
The fantasy points beside a player's name describe their performance. Your StartHim score tracks whether your selection was correct.
Each question uses its displayed scoring format: PPR, half-PPR, or standard. PPR means a point per reception; half-PPR awards half a point per reception; standard awards no reception points. That format is fixed when the question is created.
Final points come from FantasyPros for the question's season, week, and format. Your own fantasy league may use different scoring settings. Projections help you make a decision; verified final points determine the result.
Picking multiple players
Select exactly the number requested. Your selections must have the highest possible combined fantasy-point total from the available players to earn a correct call. There is no partial credit for getting only part of the combination right.
Ties count as correct
Every selection that ties the best possible total earns a correct call. Either player earns credit in a two-player matchup that finishes level. In a player pool, all combinations tied for the best total earn credit.
When picks lock
The entire question locks at the earliest kickoff among its players, even if another player's game starts later. Finish every required selection before that deadline.
A saved selection can be changed before lock. After lock, picks cannot be changed.
Waiting for final results
A question stays pending until all candidates have verified final points and participation checks are complete. Individual verified points can appear while the question is still locked.
A missing score is not treated as zero. Players who participated can finish with zero or negative fantasy points. Delayed games and unavailable data stay pending until they can be verified.
Injuries and void questions
If any candidate is verified as inactive or did not play, the entire question is void for everyone, even if you selected a different player. Void questions do not affect wins, losses, accuracy, or streaks.
If a player participates and then leaves with an injury, their verified points still count. Leaving early does not automatically void the question.
Leaderboard and levels
The leaderboard orders members by accuracy, then by the number of graded calls. Equal accuracy and volume are ordered alphabetically. A member with no graded calls is unranked. Records with one through nine graded calls are marked provisional.
Levels follow your rounded accuracy: Rookie 0–19%, Starter 20–39%, Veteran 40–59%, Expert 60–79%, and Guru 80–100%.
Stat corrections
Verified stat corrections can change a question's result and your record. Recent final results are rechecked during scheduled scoring updates for seven days after the question's latest player kickoff. Later corrections require a manual review.
